As a parent of a child with Cerebral Palsy, I am obviously motivated to find treatments that will help my child deal with this condition. Create Possibilities would not exist if that weren’t the case. But there is also the reality of just getting through the day and dealing with the “mom issues” that are a part of our daily experience.
We all know how challenging it can be to deal with the little (and not so little!) things that are part of caring for a child with cerebral palsy. I hope that another piece of what Create Possibilities can do to help is to provide parents and caregivers with resources to make life a little easier.
In the coming months, I will be sharing with you some of my favorite products, books, and ideas that can ease a bit of the frustration that often “comes with the territory” when raising a child with a disability. I hope you will want to share your own ideas, too. I’m already envisioning the “Cool & Practical” ideas section of our website that we could create together!
