About

Our Story

The driving force behind Create Possibilities was a desire to create something positive out of something negative. In 2005, our daughter Olivia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, also known as CP. The world as we knew it would never be the same.

For the first few years, the initials CP would mean only sorrow, sadness, and lost possibilities. But as Olivia continued to grow and progress and surprise all of us, our family began to regain hope. Ultimately, we decided it was time to take the negative connotation out of “CP” and we found ourselves searching for ways to make some sort of positive difference in the lives of those affected by cerebral palsy. The letters CP had to mean more than cerebral palsy. They needed to stand for all the things we wanted both of our daughters to find in life. And so, we wished for a world that would Create Possibilities, Challenge Prejudice, Change Perceptions, Cultivate Peace, and help Courage Prevail.

Our hope is that Create Possibilities will help to make that world a reality for all children.

All proceeds from Create Possibilities benefit children with cerebral palsy.
